Buste d'Homme - Terracotta Proof - Signed Victor Demanet

Victor Joseph Ghislain Demanet, born in Givet on February 3, 1895 and died in Ixelles on February 7, 1964, was a Belgian sculptor and medalist.

A pupil of Désiré Urbin and member of the Salon des artistes français, Victor Demanet received an honorable mention in 1925.

In 1929, he exhibited the plaster cast of "Sa majesté le roi Léopold II", a statue erected in Namur, and the statue of Albert I in Arlon.
He won a bronze medal at the 1935 Salon.
