Elegant sculpture of a walking polar bear, created in crackle-glazed ceramic in ivory and milky white tones. The network of fine craquelures, characteristic of this type of glaze, lends depth, texture and a refined decorative charm to the whole.
The bear is depicted in a dynamic, realistic posture, with fine work on the volumes, paws and line of the back, evoking the animal's quiet strength and nobility. The sculpture rests on a solid rectangular base, also in glazed ceramic, ensuring good stability.
The underside of the base features two firing holes typical of ceramic manufacture, as well as an old handwritten label, possibly linked to an inventory or an old collection.
In good overall condition, with no cracks or chips, and only minor signs of wear.
