A famous dynasty of ceramists from Vallauris (Alpes-Maritimes, France), this sculpture faithfully reproduces the attitude of this lioness captured in the moment. Few examples on the market, as production was more focused on jugs, planters and vases. Note the slight patina wear on the base (see photo).
