Solid beechwood cabinet or desk armchair, molded and carved, with cane base.
It rests on 4 curved legs, joined by a sinuous belt from which emerges a beautiful carving of a stylized shell in a cartouche. This motif is reversed on the upper crosspiece of the backrest.
The shoulders of the legs are carved with handsome, generous foliage; the side belts are embellished with a rocaille.

Stamped twice with E.MEUNIER, it also bears an iron mark of BD ownership.
