A charming Louis-Philippe period cabriolet armchair, crafted from solid mahogany in the mid-19th century.

This chair is distinguished by its elegant violin-shaped back, curved armrests, and the flowing lines characteristic of the Louis-Philippe style.

The quality of the woodwork is particularly remarkable, with beautiful, continuous curves connecting the front legs to the armrest supports.
The mahogany frame displays a warm, original patina in blond and amber hues.

The armchair rests on four cabriole legs, the front legs fitted with period casters for easy mobility.

Traditional webbing and horsehair upholstery.

The original damask fabric with a tone-on-tone cream floral design is still presentable but could be replaced according to the taste of its future owner. This chair offers generous seating comfort thanks to its harmonious proportions and enveloping backrest.
