Louis XVI Style Entrance Console – Carved Oak & Marble Top

Entrance console in carved solid oak, Louis XVI style, original model.

Rectangular top in dark gray marble veined with white, showing scratches and corner chips consistent with the age of the piece of furniture. The belt is decorated with a continuous sculpted frieze of rosettes inscribed in intertwined circular medallions, running along the entire length and sides. The four tapered legs, tapering downwards, end in sculpted sabots typical of the Louis XVI neoclassical repertoire. The oak displays a natural golden-brown patina with visible marks of age, including visible fixing holes on the crosspieces. General used condition consistent with the period. Polishing of the top possible on request. Dimensions: H. 74 cm – L. 98 cm – Weight: 50 kg. Delivery possible at the buyer's expense.
