Pair of cabriolet armchairs with wide seats
Lyon work, Louis XV period, circa 1750
Made of solid walnut, with curved, violin-shaped backs, finely carved with florets and acanthus leaves.
The whiplash-shaped armrest supports, the carved curved rails, and the molded cabriole legs attest to the quality of their craftsmanship.
Both cabriolets bear the stamp "NOGARET A LYON" on the rear uprights.
The upholstery has been completely redone by a professional.
Beautiful original patina.
Usual restoration.
In very good condition.
