Pair of Renaissance-style walnut ceremonial armchairs, circa 1880. Curule in shape, they feature carved faun heads on the armrests, lion’s-paw feet, a backrest with stylized openwork decoration, and a turned crossbar. The upper part of the backrest is adorned with figures in the Troubadour style. Straight backrest.
The original frame is in very good condition; the upholstery and fabrics need to be replaced.
