Two René-Jean Caillette light oak armchairs, stripped of their original finish and prepared for a new one, produced in the late 1940s.
The seats retain their traditional horsehair padding, as well as their slat and spring system. Only the webbing has been replaced. We chose to preserve this original construction, whose flexibility and response to body weight differ significantly from those of contemporary foams.
