Superb Louis XVI period Molded and Carved Natural Wood Bergère, resting on Fluted and Tapered Feet.

This Cabriolet-backed Bergère is upholstered in a pretty Mauve and Rose-shaded Floral Fabric with Passementerie finish and its Seat Cushion. Its Armrests with Sleeves, Armrest Supports with Grooves and Connecting Dice with Rosette Décor. Good seating. Good stability. Beautiful patina. Stamped on the rear crosspiece.

Beautifully crafted furniture, sober and chic, stamped by the famous Master Cabinet Maker, Vinatier Gilles-Hyacinthe. This Very Comfortable Bergère with its Wide and Deep Seat, both Functional and Decorative, will Add a Touch of Charm and Refinement to Your Interior.

Gilles-Hyacinthe Vinatier Cabinetmaker. Mastered on September 22, 1785. He practiced on rue de Cléry for some fifteen years. Some fine chairs bear his stamp. Gilles-Hyacinthe Vinatier produced fine Louis XVI-style chairs of good quality, made with taste and originality. The Musée des Arts Décoratifs shows his gilded wood salon furniture, comprising a sofa, two armchairs and two chairs, tastefully treated in original forms.
