Pair of Chinese Bench Seats in Carved and Inlaid Wood - Late 19th / Early 20th century

A superb pair of solid wood Chinese banquettes, finely carved and adorned with mother-of-pearl inlays depicting refined floral motifs. The openwork backrest is decorated with a central inlaid medallion, accompanied by carved details in scrolls and traditional geometric motifs.

The arms and base are elegantly crafted, reflecting the excellence of late 19th - early 20th century Chinese craftsmanship.

One bench comes with matching cushions, the other without.
