Pair of frame chairs, resting on four Etruscan-style legs. Scrolled back and pelota upholstery. Each stamped on the back crossbar "-IACOB" for François-Honoré-Georges Jacob-Desmalter under his new company name, due to bankruptcy resulting from the effects of the 1810-11 crisis and the death of his father.

Condition report: new waxed varnish, period frame and fittings, new Lelièvre silk.
