A beautiful pair of Louis-Philippe mahogany chairs.
The backrest features two carved openwork bars beneath a gently curved band.
The front legs have opposing double-curved cabriole legs, while the rear legs are saber-shaped.
The seats have removable cushions upholstered in floral velvet.
Stamped Veuve Grange et Bétout.
Circa 1840.
Seats need reupholstering and re-seating; old reinforcements.
