Rare mahogany chair on tapered, ringed front legs and saber-shaped back legs. Full belts, openwork back with a planchette trimmed in fine ebony rose and floret marquetry.
Very fine early 19th-century work.

Condition report: restored to new. Waxed varnish as in the period and luxurious emerald-green horsehair upholstery.
