Beautifully made, these chairs are stamped in ink inside the belts "Jeanselme".
The Jeanselme house is a dynasty of Parisian cabinetmakers active from 1824 until the end of the 19th century. Suppliers to the courts of Louis-Philippe and Napoleon III, in 1847 they bought the funds of the Jacob house.
