Austere and refined wavy birch furniture composed of a pair of Russian armchairs and a Pavlovian Empire table with monolithic and luxurious surfaces. In the center of the table and at the base of the armchairs are solar rosettes, the semantic, compositional and stylistic center of the work.

Origin: From the family of Alfred Schønebeck (born Varde, 1885, Copen-Hagen, 1931), Danish employee of the Great Northern Telegraph Company, from 1904 he worked in Riga. Since 1921, a representative of the company in St. Petersburg. There he and his wife actively collected Russian art and antiques. In 1929, Alfred Schonebeck was appointed director of the Copenhagen head office, where he transported and relocated an impressive collection.
