Very large silver-plated coffee pot from the goldsmith Christofle of a famous Marseille shipping company, Messageries Maritimes. The silvering of these pieces consisted of a very good weight to resist the corrosion of sea air, as well as intensive use for restoration. It has a very beautiful engraving with the courier acronym which places it in the 19th century. Only the button of the lid socket reveals the copper, everything else is in good silvering condition, however with many small traces of impact or scratches due to their intended use and specific to this type of object.
