I am offering for sale this beautiful and elegant silver-plated "Compiègne" menagère from Maison Chambly in good condition. It is composed as follows:
12 large forks
12 large spoons
11 small spoons
12 large table knives
1 large ladle
A total of 48 pieces, making this a fairly complete set. The silver plating is in good condition, but there is some silver wear at the end of the handle of one of the forks (photo at the end of the ad).
The knife blades are in stainless steel, and the cutlery is dishwasher-safe with the usual precautions.
A beautiful, sober and uncluttered set to match any style of porcelain service.
