Knife set consisting of 12 table knives and 12 cheese knives, ivory handles, solid silver ferrules, chromed steel blades. Early 20th century.

Elegant Regency-style decoration with shell-chased ferrules, easily complementing any style of household set.
Very fine model, luxury production.

The set is in exceptional condition: the handles show no cracks, a rare feature after 130 years. The steel blades are chromium-plated: this is the most high-end treatment available to preserve them from oxidation; the edge is very sharp. The knives are sold in their original case, in excellent condition.
