Important gilt bronze clock with a green patina, dating from the Charles X period, circa 1820-1830.

The clock is decorated with pomegranates, phoenixes, butterflies, and flowers.
The lower cartouche depicts a Chinese or Oriental couple enjoying themselves. This same couple reappears on the upper cartouche, where the man and woman are dressed in Middle Eastern and Asian attire. The woman wears a flowing gown and slippers.
Romantic period, circa 1830.
The clock movement is complete and in working order. The original pendulum is numbered the same as the movement and is signed Guyerdet in Paris.
