French officer's clock, circa 1900, signed Bayard Paris, equipped with a 9-jewel Duverdrey & Bloquel movement. Brass case, enamel dial with Roman numerals. Authentic piece, untested, sold in its original condition.

Superb French officer's clock, also known as a carriage clock, made around 1895–1910.
It is signed Bayard – Paris on the dial and houses a Duverdrey & Bloquel movement, from the Saint-Nicolas-d’Aliermont clockmaking company, renowned for its jewel mechanisms.

The case is made of gilt brass, with a beautiful warm patina, and the four glass sides allow the movement to be admired. The white enamel dial is adorned with Roman numerals and Breguet-style hands. This clock has not been tested and is sold as a collector's item or for restoration.

A beautiful decorative object for a desk, library, or display case for an antique clock enthusiast.
