This set comprises a clock and two cassolettes.
The egg-shaped clock was made in the Art Deco style from three different marbles.
The front and top are in Rouge de Vitrolles marble, highlighted on the edge by a brass baguette.
The ochre-colored dial features Arabic numerals at the hours and the coat-of-arms of the Nantaise brand DiediSheim.
The back is made of Rosé Vif marble from the Pyrenees.
The movement is concealed behind an openworked brass circular plate.
The whole rests on Vert de Mer marble feet.
The cassolettes flanking the clock complete the ensemble and add to its harmony.
Also designed in Rouge de Vitrolles and Vert de Mer marble, they are accented by a brass rod.
It features an oval top with cavity and a slightly domed shaft.
This decorative and functional ensemble is a collector's item that captures the essence of a rich and innovative artistic period.
