Emile Guillemin was born in Paris in 1841.
His father, also a sculptor, taught him the trade. His master was also Jean Jules Salmson.
A talented artist, Emile Guillemin began exhibiting at the salon of the Society of French Artists from 1870 and he participated for the last time, in 1899.
