    Master clock in stained wood, richly decorated with a gilded bronze iconography of loves.

    The elegantly carved, curved case is decorated with garlands of flowers, medallions of cherubs and a finely chased upper figure of a seated love.
    The white enamel dial, with Arabic numerals, is set in a delicately worked bronze frame.

    The lower part reveals a balance wheel adorned with a putto, bringing animation and presence to the whole.
    The molded base, resting on small scrolled feet, is also adorned with a bas-relief frieze depicting several putti in a bucolic scene.

    The whole testifies to a typically romantic taste of the XIXᵉ century, between Napoleon III spirit and neo-rococo inspiration.
