Elegant secretary in rosewood veneer inlaid with butterfly wings, in amaranth frames and Greek tinted wood nets, opening with a drawer, a flap revealing lockers, six small drawers and a tawny leather, and two leaves in the lower part, the uprights with cut sides, terminated by small arched feet.

Stamped Jean Popsel received master in Paris in 1755 and pinçon de jurnade, JME.
