The vase is in the shape of a baluster with molded chilong dragons applied to the shoulders and a pair of small Buddhist lion shaped handles at the neck. The vibrant colors on this Guangxu period vase are reminiscent of Nyonya style porcelains.
I find the vase in fairly good condition considering the age - there is a little wear to the enamels, there are some baking defects, notably a slight line on the base. Oddly enough, there is a purple colouration around the inside of the rim of the foot and please note, in the last photo, a small restoration on the tail of one of Fo's dogs. Please take a good look at the pictures, please and contact me if you have any questions. Thank you.
The approximate sizes: 25 cms (h) x 10 cms and 750 g.
