    Description:
Bronze patina of excavation, red velvet ,wood.

This memento mori or vanity represents a skull placed on two crossed tibias.
We are in a representation reminiscent of the catacombs in which the bones were sometimes staged in a theatrical manner.
This bronze probably comes from an allegorical monument of death, or from a private chapel.
