    Antique Elegant travel box or case, in the shape of a complete Napoleon III sewing kit travel box chased in pomponne. The clog knot is in brass, and the lid has a spring mechanism.

    A very neat showcase item, probably designed to hold a luxurious thimble on its red silk bed, in the shape of a fine shoe, chased and gilded brass.

    The interior is upholstered in an original red silk velvet fabric, which has not been changed.
