Mask featuring a female face. The facial features are fine and the head is topped with an elaborate hairstyle. Teeth are shown filed down, a mark of beauty. This mask, called "Gu", represents the wife of the "Zamblé" mask in the "Zaouli" dance.
The nose is not pointed, but flattened at the tip.
A very fine example from the early 20th century.
