Mask representing an oval face. Very nice geometric balance between the nose, the browbones and the mouth. The face is two-tone (black and red) with circle patterns. It evokes the animal world and by extension the spirit world of the bush, of the invisible.
This type of mask was used for initiation rites.
Wood with patina of use, pigments.
