Statue representing a standing androgynous figure. Legs slightly bent, well anchored in the ground. Male genitalia and breasts are present. The statue bears scarification marks above the breasts, on the back, cheeks and forehead. The ears are pierced, and were originally intended to wear earrings.
The androgynous type takes us back to the creator god who possessed both genders. These statuettes were used during initiations to protect and teach cosmogony to young initiates.
