Statuette featuring a standing female figure. She holds a pestle in both hands above a mortar on the floor. This proud figure also suggests the back-and-forth movement of the pestle on the mortar. A sacrificial gangue covers part of the figure. A necklace of fine white pearls springs partly from the gangue. The facial features and hairstyle are fine.
This statuette is both fetishized and tells us about a regular act performed by these populations.
