Two ancient coins (pre-colonial period) Idoma (probably descendants of the Akopo) living at the confluence of the Benue and Niger rivers. Made of oxidized wrought iron with a hammered surface and decorative motifs, they originated in Nigeria with the Idoma people and were originally used for barter.
Length of each piece: approx. 43 cm.
