An unusual and amusing example of a carved ancient LOBI slingshot from Burkina Faso,
depicting a standing male figure urinating! These slings are carried by young boys to hunt birds and bats in the forest. The carvings on these everyday objects are talismanic and often represent a spirit destined to protect the hunter and ensure a successful hunt! Very nice shiny brown patina ! Sold socled.
