Oracle box or mouse box used for divination. This object, intended for divination, was taken away by the diviner during his consultations. A mouse and small objects and seeds were placed inside. The interpretation was based on the movement of small objects caused by the mouse.
This box has a notch in its center on which was to be placed a piece of cloth where magic charges were hung. Traditional geometric patterns adorn the barrel of the box. It still has its fabric handle. Its lid (probably in terracotta) and its bottom have disappeared.
Wood with a beautiful patina of use, splits, metal, fabric, leather.
