SORBET SPOON

Handle made of three mother-of-pearl sections and four cut brass rings, the distal end of which is carved with a coral insert. Coconut spoon riveted by three brass nails to a wooden section forming the junction.

It was used to serve "sherbet", an iced fruit granita that gave its name to sorbet.
