    This colorful and very expressive mask was featured in a famous mask show from Indonesia: the Barong. Barong theater masks are generally spectacular and highly representative of Balinese culture. Their menacing and angry appearance helps scare away evil spirits. These masks are considered sacred, and before each performance, they are sprinkled with holy water and offered offerings.
