Jordi Bonas (1937-2017), "Autumn Bouquet" painting, 1970s.

BONAS (Jordi), painter and lithographer born in Barcelona in 1937 and died in Touraine in 2017. This Catalan-born artist, a graduate of Barcelona's Ecole des Beaux-Arts, arrived in Paris's Montmartre district in 1959. He immediately exhibited his work in renowned salons such as the Salon des Indépendants. At the same time, he worked as a restorer for the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris. This was followed by exhibitions in many renowned galleries in France and abroad, such as Galerie Roussard in Paris, Galerie Salga in Rome, Adamo Gallery in New York... An expressionist and figurative painter with compositions sometimes tending towards abstraction, his unique style is in itself a signature.
This very fine work, an oil on canvas from the 1970s, depicting a bouquet of flowers, is entitled "Bouquet d'automne".
The signature of Jordi Bonas is visible in the lower right-hand corner of the composition.
A certificate of authenticity written by the artist is attached to the back of the work.
Presence of a second signature on the back and the title in the artist's hand.
