Original pair of Art-Deco bookends signed by Louis Prodhon (active in the early to mid-20th century), and working for the department stores on Boulevard Saint Honoré in Paris. They are composed of a wooden base veneered with rosewood and two granite glass blocks with splintered sides. They are supported by two nickel-plated metal columns. All in perfect condition.
