Louis XV period barometer-thermometer in molded, carved, lacquered and gilded wood. It has rococo decorations with stylised foliage. The thermometer in the upper part is annotated with remarks on the temperature, for instance the dates when Paris reached low temperatures. The barometer, in the lower part, is signed "Gorinij Fresse Bozzo" on the dial.
The original barometer and mercury thermometer are in working order.
