This beautiful red leather morocco is gilded with floral friezes on the front and back, the top and edge are also decorated with floral motifs, and the reverse of the brown flap features a semiset of florets. The lock, typical of the Louis XV period, is in solid silver and bears a master stamp with the initials N.L. The bellows interior is in green moiré satin.
Excellent condition, but the key is missing.
Mid 18th century.
