    A circular box in black lacquered wood, hand-decorated in the tradition of the Mstera school, a major center of Russian artistic lacquer.

    The lid is adorned with a narrative scene from Russian folklore, entitled "Dunia's Crossing to the Village," depicting a young woman standing in a boat crossing a river, accompanied by other figures and a stylized village in the background.
    The composition is distinguished by a luminous palette (blues, greens, reds, and ochres), a finely detailed design, and delicate gold highlights framing the scene.

    The interior is lacquered red, characteristic of traditional Russian production.
    A painted inscription clearly indicates the Mstera school and the title of the subject, confirming the attribution.
