Beautiful jewelry box in walnut veneer with ornaments in chased and gilded bronze and brass. It opens with a key to reveal an upper tray with solid silver accessories: thimble, scissors, needle case, punch, mother-of-pearl embroidery needle, cut crystal perfume bottle from Le Creusot with silver stopper. Underneath, space for jewelry. Charles X period, circa 1820-1830.

A fine example of the refinement of high society in the early 19th century.

In very good condition, complete with all accessories intact. Minor plating damage to the pointed corners of the lid, and minor damage to the leafy motifs in the corners.
