A beautiful pair of small cassolettes, forming candlesticks, in white Carrara marble and chased and gilded bronze, decorated with pine cones, eagle heads holding chains and tassels, resting on three feet terminating in acanthus leaves and spiral scrolls, joined on a trefoil base supported by three small disc feet (minor chips to the edges of the stoppers, one stopper has been restored).
Louis XVI style, 19th century.
