Large pair of andirons in gilt bronze and finely chiseled in the Louis XVI style. They are surmounted by lions lying on a drapery decorated with trimmings facing fire pots. The animals are very elaborate with sinewy limbs, detailed manes and exposed teeth. The base is decorated with rosettes and foliage in frames. The whole rests on four tapered legs ending in balls.

Condition report: In good general condition. Wear of time. Two small original holes on the manes.
