A pair of Louis XVI period andirons in gilt bronze, decorated with a covered vase adorned with garlands of foliage, gadroons, and terminating in a flame. The base rests on four rectangular feet, each decorated with rosettes. A mask surrounded by foliage draws the eye to the main face of the andiron. The two lateral sides feature a framed floral motif. On the upper register, foliate rosettes reappear in the corners, flanking a fluted frieze and a garland of oak leaves adorned with knots.
