This oval decorative plaque in Delftware features a sublime "Bérain" style design, with a vase of flowers in a cartouche at its center. Around the edge, a scalloped architectural pattern of arabesques and crosshatching reveals fantastical birds and the face of a putto at its apex. The rim of the plaque is adorned with a frieze of decorative motifs.
