    Nice pair of small andirons, for town fireplace, quite small size and nice quality. Very natural, fairly good condition. See photos: the 28cm x 22cm andirons feature an impressive bronze medallion, cast and engraved, held on the back by an iron key, with 3 heads, or more precisely one face and two profiles of a man with a certain smile... Above this curious relief, a bronze apple, cast in two parts. The forged base features pleasing scrolls, while the irons, which are original, are a little worn at the tip.
