Small bronze inkwell accompanied by its pen rest.
This accessory is embellished by enamel patterns on a black background, representing colorful illustrations on the theme of nature: flowers and foliage intertwine on the lid of the receptacle, while butterflies and a bird frolic in the flowering branches appearing on the pen holder.
The receptacle, originally intended for ink, has a lid with a pine cone-shaped pull button. Separable at will, it is screwed onto a hollowed-out round base atop the pen rest, itself rectangular in shape and decorated with scrolls on its sides. Its central part, slightly sunken, allowed to collect ink residues escaping from the calligraphy tool.
This Inkwell, which can be diverted from its initial use by using you as a small empty pocket for example, will make a charming decorative object for the room that you will assign to it.
