Blond and naked baby posing in a plush environment, large oval miniature in the length of 11cm x 8cm, painted on ivory, in blackened wooden frame with golden border, slightly curved glass.
Signed: Caroline Schmidt, 1880. Pretty portrait, still touching....
Condition: the oval ivory plate is joined right and left, which is common on large miniatures, that is hidden under framing. There is a slight crack in the crimson silk curtain. Stains on the golden bezel, back to be closed. Dimensions: frame: 17cm x 15cm.
